At
The Eur-Am Center, students will be able to
develop skills for the future by learning from
the past. The Abbey is located in the heart
of France’s "castle garden."
Students will be able to gaze upon the wondrous
châteaux of the Renaissance period while
pondering how their own ideas may be able to
push today’s limits of art and form just
as these great châteaux did during their
time.
Lectures
may be held at The Abbey in one of the many well-equipped
on-site classrooms, or within any of its historical
buildings. Memorable courses in Architecture &
Design may include a classroom session one day
of the week—in order to provide a theoretical
framework and learn fundamental concepts—followed
by a château visit later in the week to
reinforce these concepts and witness their practical
usage.
The
Eur-Am Center is the setting to foster
more creative work in students, thereby expanding
and enriching their cultural awareness. Universities
may use The Eur-Am Center as a platform to brand
their own unique Architecture and Design programs
at The Abbey.
